Kalininskaya Nuclear Power Plant is located in the Udomelsky region of Russia’s Tver Oblast, providing power to all of the country’s central regions.
In order to complete the Unit 4 renovation project, CE hired specialist personnel. The effort was carried out as part of the Federal Targeted Programme "Development of the Russian Atomic Energy Complex 2007—2010 and to 2015".
The work necessitated the purchase of the unique 146-m KROLL-K10000 tower crane with two arms and a load capacity of 240t, which dramatically reduced the construction times.
Construction, installation, repairs and renovation of the reactor and related facilities (reactor shell, containment building).
Construction and installation of the unit’s precomissioning facilities (cooling circuit, cooling towers and related pumping station, closed discharge channel, non-essential turbine water supply pipelines, production facilities outside the construction site).
The 750 kV OPL between Kalininskaya NPP and Gribovo serves the Tver Oblast and the Moscow Oblast in the Central Federal Okrug.
The Belozerskaya 750 kV substation serves the Vladimir Oblast in the Northwestern Okrug.
The 500 kV OPL between Gribovo and Dorokhovo along with the 500 kV substation in Dorokhovo serves the Moscow Oblast in the Central Federal Okrug.
The 220 kV cable and OP line between Dorokhovo and Sloboda serves the Moscow Oblast in the Central Federal Okrug.
